Content distribution

Content distribution is the process of distributing the content in all the available formats on the online platform through various channels. 


These channels can be categorized into three forms that are:


1.    Owned content distribution: The content distribution that you handle and manage single-handedly on your own which includes blogs, emails, newsletters, microsite, etc. 


2.    Earned content distribution: When third-parties take an interest in your content and distribute it. Some examples are retweets, social media sharing, guest article contributions or product reviews. 


3.    Paid content distribution: The content distribution where you pay another party to share your content on their platforms or websites. One typical example is the PPC(pay per click) model where you pay the platform or the company in case you get a click through them.
