The Internet has websites that are dated and not updated for years. It is one of the most common mistakes that marketers make that is not updating their content regularly. Content flow is the answer to this problem which is related to creating diverse content. It may sound to be an easy job, but it takes a lot of efforts and time to create a proper content flow. 

The idea behind content flow is to create a sporadic graph of content where you incorporate small content pieces between larger and bigger campaign shout-outs. It helps to keep the campaign alive while also keeping it fresh and exciting. 

A content strategy should include “peaks” also called as big and deeper campaign ideas, as well as everyday ideas to glue the pieces of bigger content seamlessly. It will create a coherent composition for the users where he will experience diversity in your content while also feeling it as a whole. 

Ideation process: 

Once you have understood what content flow is the next thing is how to implement it. You can begin the designing of your content flow through an ideation process where you aim to find the “big bang ideas” while also the “everyday ideas” to fit in between. 

Once you have enough ideas, you will have to follow a proper grading process. 

The grading process will help you to create categories for all of your titles that is which topic should be fitted in which group. You can create “ small,” “medium” or “large” idea categories.  The category can be decided based on how information-centric a topic is and how many resources it requires for its execution.
