SMM using Facebook

Facebook is one of the essential social media platforms that leads the social media marketing bandwagon. It has three tools for marketing that can be used by anyone:

1.    Pages: Facebook pages are the simplest to create and are free. You need to build your brand page and invite people to like and follow it. But, when you set up your business page keep in mind some of the essential points.

•    Firstly, always use your company logo as the profile picture and the cover page.

•    Post content that is useful and relevant to your business and your customers.

•    Do not post the same content again and again instead post it timely at specific time intervals. You can use it to announce a new product announcement or coupon codes for fans or link to your website for new blog posts.

•    “About us” should be a small, impressive introduction about what your brand does and how it can help your target customers.

2.    Ads: The next one is the Facebook ads that are the paid alternative for your social media marketing needs. It is helpful because Facebook collects information about the demographics, age, gender and the search history of the users which makes Facebook the best-targeted advertising programs online. When ads appear in the news feed of your audience, they can either be redirected to your website or your intended Facebook page. They also have the option to hide the ad if they do not like it but after giving feedback on why the ad was irrelevant to them.

The Facebook ads are not just simple, but it is highly flexible. You can easily customize it as per your marketing requirements and get the most out of your ad investment.

3.    Groups: Facebook groups are more like a discussion forum where people of similar interest can come and share their thoughts. You can create groups related to your industry and add people to it for high user engagement. But, managing groups is a bit time consuming as compared to other marketing techniques.
